Like many young adults, I graduated high school with no idea what I wanted to do for my career. I always had an inherent desire to help people but was unsure how to turn that into a career. Watching family and friends develop different musculoskeletal conditions over the years, questions like “Could I have prevented this?” or “Could I help with this condition?” flooded my mind. It was during a career fair at Western University that I heard someone say, “If you like anatomy and physiology, this is the place for you”. I headed straight to that booth, learned about chiropractic care, and never looked back.
I returned to my hometown of Peterborough, graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and applied to chiropractic college. As I finished at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and got certified as an acupuncture provider, I knew in my heart I wanted to return to my friends and family in my hometown of Peterborough. I am proud to say that Hybrid Health and Rehabilitation has now become part of that home for me.
When I am not working as a chiropractor, you will often find me at a sports field or arena. I grew up playing hockey in Peterborough and Ennismore. In the summer, I enjoy baseball, golf, and ultimate frisbee. I have a passion for helping athletes return to sports or improve performance, and I enjoy treating anyone who is motivated to become healthier.
